Privacy policy

This policy explains what Render Simple [LLC, legal name to confirm] collects when you use the website and the product, what we do with it, and the choices you have. The short version: your plans belong to you, only people in your firm can see them, and we use a plan to improve the AI only if you say yes.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, work email, firm name and the people you add to your firm’s account.
• Plans you upload: the vector PDF sheets, and the renderings, layers and exports made from them.
• Billing details: your plan and invoices. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor [Stripe, to confirm], not stored by us.
• Usage details: which features you use and when, so we can fix problems and improve the product.
• Messages: what you send us by email, on calls or through the website.

Your plans

• Your plans and renderings are private to your firm. Only people your firm adds can see them, plus anyone you choose to share a rendering with.
• Render Simple works on a copy of each PDF. Your original file is not changed.
• We use a plan to train or improve the AI only if your firm gives permission. You can withdraw that permission at any time for plans you upload afterward.
• Design partners agree, as part of the program, to let us use the plans they send to improve the AI.
• Plans you show us on a demo or intro call are not kept after the call unless you ask us to keep them.

How we use information

• To run the product: render your plans, store your projects and send the files you export.
• To bill your firm and keep accounts secure.
• To answer questions and send service messages, such as receipts and changes to these terms.
• To improve Render Simple, using usage details and only the plans you have allowed us to use.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use your plans for advertising.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of service providers to host the product, store files, process payments and send email [providers to confirm: hosting, file storage, payments, email]. They handle your information only to provide those services to us. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your plans and renderings while your firm’s account is open. If you close the account, we delete them within [30 days, to confirm], except where we must keep billing records by law.

Your choices

• Download or delete your plans and renderings at any time.
• Turn AI training permission on or off for your firm.
• Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, by writing to [contact email].

Security

Plans are stored encrypted and access is limited to your firm and to the Render Simple staff who need it to support you [to confirm with the engineering team before launch].
